I am an enthusiast of walks in nature and a speaker of 4 languages. At Pearl Lemon, I am the HR Success Manager and I contributed to increasing the team from 10 to 25 people in 6 months while developing ideas and company processes to ensure the successful management of an entirely remote team.
I had the opportunity to have an amazing conversation with Federica Gianoglio at Pearl Lemon today. From talking about SEO for Websites, Federica agreed to a quick interview.
She took the time to talk to me and answer some questions so I could get to know her better and hear more about the things that have helped shape her business success to date – let’s get stuck into it!
I’m now in the process of reading The ‘Secrets‘ Trilogy by Russell Brunson and these books are having a great impact on my professional career! I’ve already read the first book (Dotcom Secrets) and I’m halfway through the second one (Expert Secrets) and I can’t express how much value they are giving me. Not only am I learning practical tips and strategies about Sales and Marketing, but also I’m learning how to build a brand, be a leader, and become an expert. These topics have always interested me and with these books, I’m developing a whole new perspective to look at them.
I recently bought a new webcam for my laptop (my very first one!). The positive impact this has had is pushing me to record professional videos to build my online brand. I’m just getting started and now that I have received this, I’m quite excited! It’s a Logitech c920 HR Pro Webcam bought on Amazon for £84.99.
If I have the possibility, I take a break to go outside, breathe some fresh air and play with my dog in my garden (she’s always up for it!). When I go back to what I was doing, I try to think of the unconscious things that I do when I manage to be focused. For example, setting things up on my laptop before starting my workday or even starting my tracking time app help me put the attention on what I’m about to do. Also, repeating my to-do list for the day gives me clarity on what I still have to do and what I can cross out of the list. Even if it slowly reduces in length, it’s a way to see I’m making progress. Slowly but surely!
Going to live abroad. It’s an investment of money to get the opportunity to move to a new place, but it’s also an investment of time and energy to build a new life. Every time I went to a new country, I’ve built my life from scratch and even if it was challenging at the beginning, it was always worth it!
This can apply to many fields: I’ve realised that most people don’t know what they’re doing (either) because life is all about experimenting and seeing how it goes. Oftentimes, we cannot predict what’s going to happen and this should be the beauty of the whole process. We’re all trying and learning from our mistakes, so no pressure!
One way or another, all the jobs you try will have an impact on who you are and what you’ll do. The first jobs don’t have to be what you will end up doing for the rest of your life. Make the most of each opportunity and make sure you use it to grow personally and professionally. One day you’ll look back at the hard times and you’ll be grateful for having had the chance to see a business from different points of view (if you were in a position that wasn’t exactly what you wanted) and learn about an industry you probably didn’t like much. That said, be ambitious and if you have a passion, use that as your main goal!
I admire my sister who knows how to live lightly and without overthinking. Her relaxed lifestyle allows her to achieve her goals without stressing too much and by doing only the things that she loves.

Someone’s age. Everyone is on their own path and there are no rules that force us to go through established steps in specific moments of our life. You can be mature at a young age or take longer to officially feel like an adult. You can grow old and still feel younger than your years.
